About
Susie Dunning has been a licensed real estate professional since 2004, bringing more than 20 years of experience to every client relationship. Inspired to earn her license after her own Realtor and friend recognized her natural aptitude for the business, Susie went on to win the Rising Star Award during her very first year. Since then, she has built a successful career centered on honesty, communication, and genuine care for her clients.
Real Estate Experience:
As a Lifetime Masters Club member, Susie has represented buyers and sellers across a wide range of markets. Throughout her career, she has developed extensive expertise in residential and luxury homes, land, rural properties, and agricultural real estate.
Local & Agricultural Roots:
Susie grew up in Mendocino County before moving to Placerville in the seventh grade. She has lived in Acampo, California, for more than 30 years, establishing deep roots in the local community. Her lifelong connection to horses, including meeting her husband while they both competed on the college rodeo team, and her husband's 30-year career as a vineyard manager and labor contractor have given her a genuine, firsthand understanding of rural and agricultural properties.
Client Service:
Susie believes real estate is built on trust, experienced negotiation, and protecting her clients’ best interests. She provides hands-on guidance through every step of the process, including pricing and market strategy, preparing properties for sale, and navigating complex transaction details. After more than two decades in the industry, her philosophy remains simple: she never wants a client to feel like they are simply another transaction.
One of Susie’s favorite experiences was helping a wonderful couple sell their home and relocate to Tennessee. Their open appreciation for her work and the personal connection they built meant more than the transaction itself. Experiences like this remind Susie why she loves real estate and why lasting client relationships matter most.
Personal:
Family is an essential part of Susie’s life. She and her husband are proud parents to a son who works in the family vineyard business, a daughter who recently graduated as a naturopathic doctor, and three grandchildren whom they absolutely adore. Outside of real estate, Susie enjoys gardening, caring for her chickens, relaxing at home, and sharing a nice dinner with family and friends.
