Background:
Born in California, Selena spent much of her childhood and early adulthood in Mexico after her family relocated to manage a banana plantation. At 22, Selena returned to California, where a successful six-year career in retail management helped develop strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
After starting a family, Selena relocated to Texas, where a passion for helping people led to the beginning of a real estate career. A few years later, Selena returned to California and continued serving buyers and sellers with Town & Country Real Estate before expanding her industry expertise by spending eight years in the mortgage business. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Selena earned a California real estate license, returning to the profession that had always been her true calling.
