About
Mark Morin is a dedicated and relationship-driven real estate professional with over a decade of experience helping buyers and sellers navigate one of life's most important moments. Based in the Sacramento/Roseville area, Mark serves clients across Placer and Sacramento counties and beyond with the same level of care, commitment, and enthusiasm regardless of price point.
Background & Education:
A Southern California native who grew up in Orange County, Mark earned his degree from Santa Clara University in 1985. He went on to build a distinguished 28-year career as a Sales Leader with Kraft Foods, leading high-performing teams and managing key grocery accounts across major U.S. markets, including Northern California, Chicago, New York, Boston, Salt Lake City, and Tulsa. In 2001, Mark settled in the Sacramento/Roseville area, eventually rising to a Director-level role based in the Bay Area before making a purposeful transition into real estate in 2013.
Real Estate Career:
Mark launched his real estate career with Coldwell Banker before joining RE/MAX Gold, where he has proudly served clients for the past 11 years. His corporate background in sales leadership translates seamlessly into real estate, bringing sharp negotiation skills, strong market knowledge, and a client-first mindset to every transaction. Mark is excited to continue growing as he partners with GUIDE Real Estate.
Awards & Recognition:
Mark's consistent performance has earned him numerous industry honors, including:
• 7-Time Master's Club, Placer County Association of REALTORS® (PCAR) — 2016–2022
• 2-Time RE/MAX Gold Platinum Award — 2019 & 2021
• 8-Time RE/MAX Gold 100% Club Award — 2016–2018, 2020, 2022–2025
Philosophy & Approach:
Mark describes himself as a Real Estate Advocate, a relational agent, not a transactional one. His guiding principle is simple: every client's best interests come first, always. Mark believes that the foundation of a great real estate experience is genuine friendship, and with friendship comes trust and accountability. He is known to tell prospective clients that if they are only looking for someone to process a transaction, he will respectfully point them elsewhere, because for Mark, the relationship matters just as much as the result.
Mark treats every client like a million-dollar client, regardless of budget, and takes genuine pride in being an integral part of one of the most exciting and often stressful chapters in a person's life.
Clients Served:
Mark specializes in residential buying and selling throughout Placer and Sacramento counties, and has also assisted clients in El Dorado Hills, Cameron Park, Chico, Colfax, Esparto, Long Beach, and Villa Park. Whether a first-time buyer or a seasoned seller, every client receives Mark's full dedication and personal attention.
Stories That Define the Work:
In 2016, an open house in Rocklin drew 50 parties in a single weekend. The home went pending immediately, but more importantly, Mark connected with four new clients that day. Over the following ten years, those relationships resulted in 15 closed transactions, a testament to what genuine connection can build.
In 2017, a military spouse pregnant with her second child reached out from New Jersey after finding Mark online. Her husband, an Air Force pilot, was being transferred to the Sacramento area, and she had one weekend to find a home. Without hesitation, Mark cleared his calendar and scheduled 24 showings over two days. An offer was made and accepted by Monday. That family still lives in the home today, and the friendship remains.
Life Outside of Real Estate:
Family is at the center of everything for Mark. Happily married for six years, he is the proud father of four children, three sons and a daughter, and stepfather to two stepsons, all in their twenties. Weekends are best spent surrounded by family and close friends: catching a San Francisco Giants game, enjoying a dinner in the city with his adult children who now live there, or hosting backyard BBQs complete with great food and football. A recent trip to Tokyo to visit one of his sons is among his favorite memories, a reminder of why the flexibility of real estate makes it all possible.
