He spent 15 years living and working near the Nacimiento Lakes area before settling in Paso Robles. Josh’s local experience runs deep, not only as a resident but also as a community contributor. He served with the Sheriff's Office for 16 years, working across North County and other parts of San Luis Obispo County, where he built a reputation for integrity, calm leadership, and service. Married to fellow Realtor Karen Calagna for 22 years, Josh is also a proud father and former youth sports coach, having led football, baseball, and soccer teams while his children were growing up.

Josh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Administration from California State University, Chico (Class of 1996), a foundation that reflects his passion for people, planning, and community-based service.
